I’m wanting a lower ratio for better hill climbing, and I’ve read some of you switched to dr pulley. What dimensions do I need and weights?

In Holland we change them 1:1 = 3018-25 gr.

For better hillclimbing 3018-24 or 23 gr.
Gr. Cees.

It's best if you can watch the engine rpm, engagement & shift before you start making changes. Lightening the rollers will move the rpm up overall you can clock the secondary clutch spring as well. Increasing the preload in the secondary will slow the up shift & improve the back shift. That will help keep you in the power band in the hills.

When comparing clutch calibrations you need to note the elevation & riding conditions. Power loss is about 3% per 1000' so when you make clutch calibration changes you are moving the engine rpm to compensate.

I did not have alot of success in sourcing Dr Pulley here in Canada. I'm told that we can take the stock rollers which are inexpensive & lighten those, again best to monitor engine RPM while making these changes. Hopefully your cluster will let you choose engine rpm.
ZF 800 LX Trail, stock for now.......not for long.

Dr pulley 3018( 30x18) I found the stock weight of 25g. Works best for me. Clocking the secondary will will help the most.

Thanks guys! I’m going to check the clutch system out and make sure all parts are ok, and clock the secondary. Is there a better aftermarket belt you guys would recommend or is the xpencive cf belt the way to go?

I shall look into clocking my driven wheel, since I am interested in using the Dr pulley weights, I found some helpful info on this sight for sizes. I believe my unit takes #3019 weights. Where is a good source for them being I am in Canada? I don’t mind purchasing abroad.
I live in an area where I travel 2500 - 6000+ feet above sea level and my swat needs all the help it can get, I find it won’t shift down enough to stay in the power band when climbing and it feels like it could use a lower gear.

Most of us get our sliders from ebay. In fact "Scooter Assassins" has about everything there is as far as Dr Pulley.

I would mesure the rollers before ordering. Give this a look too.
