Hello,
I'm trying to place an order for doors from Rodin, but am having a little bit of a hard time at the moment.  When I finally got in touch with him he gave me a contact in Texas to go through.  I just want to make sure everything is legit before I send anyone money, and was wondering what other people have gone through when ordering doors from him?  At this time I've been contacted by the gentleman in Texas, but have not heard back from him regarding how we get the ball rolling.

Most of us just sent Rodin an email, he requested all the info necessary and payment was through PayPal. What email did you use to contact him? Should be:   nvrodin@mail.ru

I used nvrodin@mail.ru from what I assumed was his website.  I never got a response until I tried contacting him thru FB messenger.  He said FB was the best way to contact him when he responded.  Price was $600.00/set and that he accepted payments via Western Union.  I asked if he dealt with Paypal and said he had a friend in Texas that I could the transaction thru, and that it would cost another $70 on top of the $600.00.  I then messaged his friend and didn't get a response, so I contacted Rodin, and he had this guy contact me.  He said "he could certainly take care of me".  That was the last I heard.

That's different then it's been in the past. I love my Rodin doors but...it sounds like there have been some changes I would be uncomfortable with. Might take a look at some other people's doors.

Thank you for your help NMK.  I may have even pulled the email address from one of the threads about his doors, but he never responded to it.  I can't find any door threads that are more recent than 2017.  All the good reviews about his doors and doing business with him was reassuring, but that went away quick.  I'll keep looking.

So just after I typed the previous message, I get a message from the friend that seems pretty legit with pricing and lead time (8 weeks), but I not really sure how to verify the legitimacy.  No where near as easy as it looked for people in the past that were buying his doors.  Oh well.

I just put a deposit down on a 2018 Zforce 1000 and a set of his doors I would like to be my first purchase.

He is as far as I know although I hear he may be shipping in a different way then before. I suggest emailing him for the details.
