Could this be the reason for the delay on the ZForce Z-10?
« on: November 27, 2024, 07:44:14 AM »
I just stumbled on this article a few minutes ago. I wonder if CFMoto might be experiencing a domino effect and this is more of the reason why the rollout of the Zforce Z-10 has been pushed back...

I guess it would depend on how much KTM has to do with this build. My guess is that in the end, KTM is at it's trails-end because of poor business practices. I had heard somewhere that the Z10 was delayed because of some defect discovered that had to be sorted-out. Not sure if it's true or not.

Looks like I may have gotten ahead of myself. Doing a little research, looks like KTM is involved with CFMoto in the motorcycles and not necessarily the Side by Sides.

I'm still trying to figure out if CF simply staged those Z10's coming off of the assembly line in China when all those dealers visited recently, where they were alll headed to at that time if they did not and how may were produced before this all came to a screeching halt.
I'm still in the camp that there was nothing drastically wrong with these cars in the first place. Heck, they weren't even taking orders for them until this month..just before they weren't (again).
The used SxS market worldwide is about to explode and already has due to literally everyone unloading 10 years worth of rigs at the same time.
Couple that with few even being able to afford a $20 to $24K car at even an incredible value and the threat of crushing tariffs...what would you do?
Damn the torpedos and flood the market?
