Control Arms
« on: August 11, 2020, 08:01:22 AM »
Has anybody found or can confirm that the RZR 800S control arms fit our machines? This would be for teh 60" wide models. On one of the facebook pages a guy claims the rears are a drop in. The front look like they could be as well from the pictures. I see guys using RZR bushing in the control arms so they must be close. My goal here is if the standard ones fit then so will the high clearance ones for a RZR. I am tempted to buy a set and give it a try but dont want to be stuck with something i cant return if they dont fit.

I would be astonished if Polaris control arms fit and provided the same geometry as CFM arms.

Do you have a URL to the Facebook page in question?

Why would you be astonished? How much of a RZR do you think is actually made in the US? There is quite a bit of parts i have seen the can cross over. My guess is even the ball joints cross over but have not confirmed yet.

There are 2 different pages "CF Moto Z Force Owners" and "Zforce Nation". I posted a question about the SuperATV lower arms going discontinued and got the response and pictures of a guy mounting a RZR lower on the rear of his machine with no problem. But he says his machine is a 600EX. Im looking more for the 800EX/1000.

I have contacted Highlifter to see why there not in the market for these machines and if they would be willing to get into it or send some parts to try and cross reference. Waiting for a response.

Just to add my 2-cents - CFM and their suppliers copy many other manufacturers but always change or alter them at least a little to avoid any patent issues. If the RzR a-arms were a straight bolt-on, it would have been noted long ago. Even the bushings are slightly different. So they may be close..but I'm guessing it's "no cigar" :) But hay..who really knows. I say go a head buy one and try it. You can always send it back if needed.. and if it does directly interchange you would be the hero of the day.
