PERHAPS SOME COMMON SENSE??
A new owner of 2021 UForce 1000 did not do much in the way of learning about his new machine. He winched something using the machine in "Park". Stress snapped the parking pawl. It is a well known and reported issue.

Yep..you broke the parking paw or some part of it. It is not even recommended to use Park on a slight incline or while being transported let alone use it to anchor the unit while winching. Should have left it in neutral and use the hand brake...and chocked the tires if necessary. Either live with it..and hope no broken pieces get involved with the gears.. or take it in. As the case may have to be split, it means a complete engine rebuild and it is unlikely the warranty will cover it as it was operator error.
Agree, pilot error.
I looked at 100s (it seems....) of videos and reviews of CFMoto ATV/UTV models. I learned a heck of a lot about weaknesses, problems, features good and bad, and so on. All of this info is available on YouTube. About 7 months later I bought a 2021 CForce 600 Tour.
I knew about shifting problems on an incline(and how totake plastics off and adjust to fix), how to change oil, inspect and lube grease fittings, check nuts & bolts, replace crap OEM air filter, pay attention to breakin-rpms, count hours for 1st service and cut hours in half with severe use, what oil to use, where to get filters, do not let winch "free spool" - always pull or hold on to cable in either direction so it doesn't get tangled up, go past LO then return to LO to get it IN LO, trailer in Neutral, and lots of other stuff.
Others here on CFMoto forums provided oil type (JASO MA2), not in CFM Manual. Same for air filter, oil filter, tires, wheel spacers, detail stuff like how to change time on dash screen, how to adjust speedo by wheel circumference, and more.
I also read about the parking pawl deal, don't rely on it and don't break it. As a last effort, I actually read the owners manual! Good grief, will wonders never end??
I think these new machines are so tehnical and complicated, that reading the manual and researching info is a Must-Do thing. It is not all about just shiny plastic pieces and go balls out in first use 200 miles/20 hours. A friend wanted to try my 600, OK, and I thought he'd go down the driveway, go up the street a bit and return. NO DEAL. He headed right outacross the ravine in powder dirt dust, blazing to the next gully and back. I read him the riot act because of RPM limit, crap OEM air filter, and returned a filthy machine that was difficult to tell what color it was. Maybe my reaction was excessive, but I only had 2 miles on the machine. My $$$$, I take care of it.
New and prospective-new owners can look for info on YouTube and brand-forums. I see so many of the same questions asked and the info is out there. Many owners find solutions to things and post them on various places. The search tool in a forum is usually helpful. Maybe not in "oil threads" with lots of opinions and so on, but it is there.
CFMoto products are not sacred or holy, all brands have their quirks and problems. Try to learn about them from others. JMO
YMMV
