Clutch one way bearing direction
« on: March 03, 2024, 11:35:08 AM »
Had to get into the wet clutch on a 2022 zforce 800ex. With clutch and belt reinstalled, which direction should I be able to spin the clutch assemblies, towards the front of machine or the rear? Want to be sure I have one way clutch direction correct before I fire it up

Think of it this way. The engine has to idle and not engage the one-way and looking at the primary straight-on the engine rotates clock-wise. That's the same as if the engine wasn't rotating and the primary was rotating counter-clockwise. So...the primary should rotate counterclockwise free and bind to the engine if turning clockwise.
