i have a 2016 zforce 800 i have put exhaust,snorkels,27"tires on and completely removed air box and run snorkel right off throttle body the machine bogs bad at the hit of the throttle i did restrict air inlet and it helped an input would be greatly appreciated.thanks brian.

When you add an exhaust that kills or reduces back pressure, you kill scavaging which makes engines loose bottom end and even bog. The only cure is to put a programer on it and tune back in some slight back pressure.

yep I would agree you need a fuel programmer, and should get it tuned at a dyno to make sure you are running the air/fuel ratio correctly so you don't melt your pistons.

what fuel programmer do you recommend for the z8?

I don't have one, there was a post or two about people using them I don't remember what they were called but I don't thinks there's a whole lot of them out there for the zforce

ok i am gonna ask you guy have you ever heard of air rich fuel lean? with just snorkel on the throttle body there was no gas smell at all and i have the bog,i put the air box back in till i can purchase a dobeck fuel controller and no you can smell gas when it is idling but no bog.i ask one of the local shops with a dyno about this and he never heard of it just said that snorkels restrict air flow and my machine was rich with fuel i know he is wrong about this because when i restricted the snorkel it worked alot better.just curios to your thoughts.

My only thought is a sensor that is reading incorrect.  Telling the ECU the engine needs things it doesnt.
