Hello all,

First post here.

Have a 2022 CForce 600.

Upon putting the primary clutch back together. I aligned the marks on the 3 pieces properly and installed.

Everything was fine with low throttle test riding. As soon as I opened up the throttle here came the rattling noise from the primary.

I have taken apart and put back together many times and same thing happens.

How does one properly torque these nuts and what are the torque specs for this machine?

Thanks very much for your help.

I have to ask- have you run it without the clutch to see if it still makes this noise? And...proper torque specs, especially on the clutches are critical. I don't have a 600 manual so I can't tell you but...best get one.

The 1000 had the same clutch so the primary nut should be torqued to 82ftlbs, the retainer bolt to 45 and the secondary nit to 85

Thanks for the reply.

Yes I took the primary off and ran the machine, no rattle noise.

Thank You for the torque specs.

How am I able to hold the primary while using the torque ratchet? I don't want to just wedge something in there and damage the primary.

They make a CFM-specific spanner wrench to hold it but most of us just use an adjustable spanner that can go up to at least 6"s. You can also use a strap wrench around the outer sheave. NO chain wrenches.
