i hear a click when i turn the key in but i dont hear the fuel pump prime. The bike will crank but it wont start. Any ideas on how to solve this and how do i check the connectors if you guys know the location of the connectors ?

Side issue: code p0134 says bank 1 sensor 1 issue, i have tested the o2 sensor and it does respond with 0 - 1v on throttle. What should i look for to fix this as i don't think its the o2 sensor itself.

Did you wash it with a pressure washer-bad idea. Sounds like you have got water into a connector or the fuse box under the seat. Leave bike sit in the sun for a day to dry out the water and all should be good.

Another thing to consider is...the kill switches are not water proof and many after washing or out in the weather get water in them, making connection problems. Pop it out of the dash and turn it face down for a bit. If water drips out..you have your answer.

The connector to the fuel pump was black (carbon deposits), i scraped it a bit and it worked afterwards. I didnt pressure wash it, just normal plain water from a bottle. Not sure why the connector had a short. Any ideas on the p0134 code that im getting ?

Good catch on the bad connection.

The P0134 is self explanatory. There is an out of spec response from an O2 sensor.

A quick google scan finds :

Faulty heater circuit
A wire that is broken or disconnected from the oxygen sensor
Corrosion in the connectors
Engine vacuum leak
A faulty power control module (PCM)

Do you have a scanner for the bike? If not, the local dealer should have one.

I will get it scanned these days, will it show exactly where the issue is? i.e. Vacuum leak? or will it just say faulty oxygen sensor circuit?

A scan tool should be able to capture real time data while the engine is running, and from that you can find out if the O2 sensor is partially working or not at all. After that, some diagnostic work will likely be required to determine if it is the sensor or the wiring.

what scanning tool should be used? I tried hooking up an OBD2 scan tool but it says cannot connect to the ECU. Any solution to this or am i using the wrong connector?
