CFMoto Brakes
« on: October 26, 2016, 02:02:57 PM »
Wait, wait, wait... Did I really just read somewhere that i'm supposed to change the brake pads on a CF every 400-500 Miles!? (650-800km) Is this for real!? I've got 3100km and havent changed them, dealer hasnt told me anything about this... But I am feeling the front brakes aren't as strong as they were.

The rear brakes don't really do the job with the handle and when i tighten the handle (if you know what i mean :P) they start squealing, but with the foot pedal all the brakes together they aren't that bad.

What machine? It helps us when your machine is in your signature line. On the Zs the hand brake is not part of the disk brakes, it's a separate system. And no, the pads will last different lengths of time. Just check them sometimes to see where they are.

I've got 500 miles on mine, brakes are still awesome, so I'm not changing them till they start giving me a fit.
