I'll be honest. One of the biggest reasons that I am wanting to know just how quickly that one can rush in to a dealer and lock down a Z10 purchase is your reasoning above.
I don't care who wins next Tuesday in terms of these cars not being sold for what they were advertised for but 4 or 5 months earlier (or more) when everybody finally piles in to get one.
One candidate has so much as guaranteed that made in Mexico will be targeted and the other..who knows.
Either way, if I was in the market for anything that CF offers in the next few months....

It would be an absolute shame to ban them.
The cost vs value is really pretty exceptional when most trends are to make the little guy suffer in the wallet.

So my question today (which everyone in the industry/elsewhere seems to be ducking for obvious reasons) is two-fold:

Who is going to take a chance on purchasing one of these in the future given zero willingness to explain potential security issues today not only likely surrounding present models but those which would obviously come under scrutiny in the future...

...will these very expensive products retain the value that they enjoy now initially or post sale? What if the next shoe to fall is any further free world market perception that they will be a devil to get parts/support for in the future? How about any 'USA-owned' shaming factors sure to be pushed hard at the Z10's launch by competitors/the entire (non-participatory) aftermarket?

Not to be a buzz kill and pretty much in full agreement with much of what has been offered to date...yet c'mon guys. We pretty much know where all of this is heading and not a thing is good about it with this much invested in  an atv or sxs nowadays even at alternative brand pricing sure to inch up by leaps and bounds in the near future. We just had a 'microchip' cause entire fleets of brand new $100,000 plus/minus vehicles to sit in massive paved graves for months on end. I have no problem obviously with those willing and/or able to sing like Doris Day to all of this yet how about those who convinced their wives that a new roof could wait?

I've spent way too much time grinding my arse away to not do at least one thing I can enjoy.

Im not hurting but I have a lot of work to do . .  not real willing to watch a bunch of useless politicians rip away everything Ive worked for, or honest folks either.
My kids bust their butts as well . . They have the right to determine their own lives . .
and we owe nothing to politicians or the folks that believe they own everything.

Hardship is walking through the night looking for pennies or whatever, because you havent had actual food in a couple of weeks.
Hardship is finding a dumpster in a corner backed up against brick wall so you can sleep for a few hours.

About 5 minutes ago, save for the within 30 days part and a possible earlier drop date, I pretty much came to the same conclusion. I'm frankly just getting a little skittish given the opportunity to talk it out here. We blessedly already have what resembles a pure sport machine (10 years ago at least) in the garage and as my wife noted aren't seeking as many HP-based thrills in far way places any longer anyways.
If they can get their crap together and start coming clean as to what the problems truly are (past/present/future customers) and allow dealers to even order one more than a month from now let alone produce one for the NA market..great.
It's down to pretty much a 'fate' thing for me given the fiasco that they've allowed it to become since late August.

Exactly. That is the only thing keeping my interest here save for the price and likeliness of a value deal like this coming down the pipe ever again.

I have always contended that this is not likely to happen in any generation living today as the solution to our country's financial-related problems (which let's admit is just behind our Jesus problem) is going to require equal or seemingly unequal sacrifice by everyone in it.
We have no unity, as you offered, nor sense of national pride (which was predicted 'without firing a shot') so everyone just figures that they'll simply loot the place figuratively until there's nothing left.

We're coming to a reckoning in this world very quickly as has been predicted and which has become evident since October 7th of last year at the very latest.
I would suggest to everyone out there giving a listen to the sig below as I have found myself of late doing over and over again (or better yet simply read).
I love wheeling yet I'm in this for the long haul and sacrifice truly is the only way out of here.
