I am looking to purchase a CF Moto cargo storage container for the back of my 600, are they worth the money?

I have the CFMoto one on the back of my 21 600 Touring. I bought it when I bought my machine. It was $270. Is it worth the money? Depends on who you ask. It is if you want to have storage capability.. It's really just a plastic box with a gasket, lid, and 2 buckles. But there aren't many alternatives unless you want to take the plastic rack cover off and bolt something directly to the metal tubing. It is nice having the CFConnect locks that allow you to take it on and off in about 10 seconds.

Depends. to me, not worth it.

Look here:
WHAT ABOUT BOB- INTRO VIDEO, JOSEPH, OR.

Sportsman Rear Bag:  It is easy On/Off with straps.  I like it OFF to see backward better in SnowPlow duty.

He has found ATV cover, heated grips, mirrors, and a few odd-ball thing for 600T that don't cost anywhere near CFM OEM stuff.  The muffler tip was expensive for what seems to be zero gain.  The 600T is loud enough as is stock.

Example:I don't think the muffler-pipe deal is worth the $$$.
I did buy the Sportsman Metal-Frame soft bag, it does a good job.  JMO

I made my own snowplow mount system and it works fine, cost maybe 15% of the "New Stuff".

I liked the idea of taking off the rear seat and having a forward extended rack.  I made my own from a a crunched OEM 600T rear seat mechanism and old 2nd-hand metal tree stand ($2) bought for the metal.  Total cost was about $45, the most expensive part being a 2'X4' plywood piece from Home Depot. I just painted the parts today, will post photos in a few days.

I try to make my own "stuff" or fab this or that.  I have AC buzzbox welder, chop-saw, grinder, drill press and usual tools.  No big deal and just do it.
Whatever, do your thing.
YMMV
