Out hitting some hills with my 15 year old grand daughter and freakin broke the left tie rod relight next to the tie rod end.  Wasn’t even gettin it that hard, anybody else have any issues ? I haven’t started looking yet but does anyone know of a more beefed up rod offered ?

The rod itself? Wow...I've heard of bending them and snapping the ends off at the threads but not just snapping a tie rod. I don't have any place to go to get better..maybe someone will chime in that does.

Thnx NMK, yea it broke in two right at the ending of the threads that go to the steering knuckle.

Sure will when I get home from work tonite. Going to start taking it apart while I wait to get a new one sent to me. ( as soon as I find someone to sell me one lol ) actually thought about making my own out of some stronger stock and threading the ends to match the old one.

Just ordered a replacement tire rod assembly from Alpha sports they said it is a new product  from a new vendor  which lends me to believe the old ones were inferior ? I’ll keep y’all posted.
