While there rotate that cover bearing with your finger. The factory doesn't put much grease in those and they dry out fast. Its a bitch to get out but you can flush it with Brake Clean and re-grease it by filling the hole with grease and pushing it through from the back side.

Lol..soon you will be like many of the rest of us..have many times under your belt. In fact I have my interior out now working on a complete new engine and CVT air intake system and was thinking this might be the time to go back to B2 as I have wanted to do for a while. I probably will.

Well I don't see why you couldn't move the machine, just put it in neutral and push it around.  I think NMK means just don't start it.  If I'm wrong correct me.

Yeah..roll it anywhere. Just don't start the engine with the cover off is what I meant.

Nope..just drop them in like it shows on the instructions, set the cover on and slip it back together. Once you have it in place and the nut started, rotate the clutch while tightening the nut cause the belt had to climb up the sheaves a bit for the cover to go all the way over the splines. Then torque to..well I go to 85 or so but the book says 80. The book also says to us a drop of thread-loc but I don't.

thanks again wish somebody here in the states was a dealer for dr.pulley products we wouldn't have to wait so long but as they say good things come to those who wait.does anybody have a print out on the clutch setups that tells you what does what as far as the a b c 1 2 3 4 ? and slider weight combinations that work best?i know the setup that was posted on here must be a real good one i would just like to have a print out to look at that would tell me the differences in the settings.

Yes, its a little belt dust but mostly ground-up dirt..makes it fine as flower. This is why I am trying to use a filter but it's been getting full too quickly.  No dust at all in mine...but it takes a filter on the intake to stop it. Before the filter it would get so bad it would pack-up in the primary slide slots and fill every nook it could. Now its clean...but I have to clean the filter every 30 miles or so. I'm working on a solution though.

LOL..depends on your point of view. The intake is the one closest to the primary clutch..which is toward the back of the machine....and neither are actually on the outer cover.

Just a heads up on the sliders. Once you place them in and make sure the plastic inserts on the plate are still on, put the plate back on and hold it firmly together untill the nut is at least hand tight so the sliders don't rotate on you.
