Anyone run the gates c12 belt ?

I’ve runinned my oem belt right out the gate under 500kms

Went to an ulitimax u485
An we’ll 3000k an it’s pretty wore out

Soo suggestions?

Ulimax has been the preferred belt and Gates has been the next best choice...but EPI is now in the game with CFM so check with them to see if they have a belt for the 1000s. I have used theirs in the past on my Brute and was very happy with it. Everything they do is quality.

I ran a Gates on my Kawasaki Prairie 650 and it shredded on the 2nd ride and I do mean shredded.  Went back to an OEM belt after that, maybe I just got a faulty belt.

I have the same luck with Gates and Carlisle on my Brute. Just something about the torque of that Kawasaki V-twin that just kills average belts. Went to a Teryx and had over 3500 miles on it when I sold it..still like..well..near-new.
