Bees in my motor?
« on: March 15, 2026, 02:08:01 PM »
So I tried to post twice already with a video, never went through, I got a 21 cforce 600 I picked up needed a rebuild after the last owner swamped it bad. Everything went fine and ran well, after a month or so it started making a loud buzzing noise from the left side, so I figured it was stator related, took it apart and it was fine, charging at 14.2 and not coming apart and nothing rubbing on flywheel. Only other thing I saw in there is the one way bearing for the starter so I replaced it. No change. It’s only at first startup and lasts a couple minutes and stops but very loud and annoying. I wish the video went thru. It also may be temperature related because the one time it didn’t do it was the 1 warm day we had here in mass. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Going to have to hear it...and trying to attach a video directly will be a no-go as it's way to large for the server to ever accept...no matter the length. You will have to upload it to a host service like youtube and post a URL link in your post here. I suggest you try it without the belt as one common thing that happens is the belt's idler bearing..which also is a one-way bearing on the 600, are notorious for failing and making an odd noise at idle. If the sound goes away when the RPMs are up a little, that's even more evidence pointing toward it.
