Battery running down

I have a 2004 cfmoto 800 side by side. It runs great but after riding from 15-30mins the spark indicator light comes on indicating the battery is low. Replaced the voltage regulator and still having the issue. And other ideas? Only does it when being ran. It can set for days and battery stay up

Might check the year but I don't think CFMoto was building any form of 800s in 2004. I believe the first year of the 800..and in a SxS was the UForce Tracker in 2013. Anyway sounds like a bad stator. Not uncommon.
