Hey guys, i just got my SATV flip up windshield. I assembled it per directions (came mostly assembled) I installed the lower section no problem. But I'm having an issue with the main windshield. The side clamps line up good, but I can't get the top clamps to close. It's like the windshield is binding up on the clamps. Anyone else have any issues getting theirs installed? Or some pictures of the top bar clamps? Been messing with it for a couple hours can't figure it out.

I fought mine for hours too. I just helped a friend put one on his RzR and they use a new type of clamp now...one with a hinge on one side and two screws on the other. Anyway, leave all the hardware like that bar loose. Set the height so it sets in the lower piece right and straight and set the lower clamps first so they don't interfere with anything. Then play with the uppers rotating a little each way to find the best place...then lock then down and the bar. Now mine...I could not get it not to hit that flat spot and hold the windshield out so I .."adjusted" that flat area with a grinder...only after spending all my patience trying not to. Now the one we just put on the RzR fit no issues.

So keep playing with it...it also helps if the lower part upper edge is up and out as far as the slots let you.

Thanks,

I'll mess with it again today. Hate spending $375 on something and having to F**k with it to fit!

I know the feeling. I should add that how far inward the bottom edge of the top piece had to go to make contact with the lower piece seems to be important so positioning that lower piece is also important...and that from what I hear and see, no two CFM cages are exactly the same.
