Just got back from a ride and on the way back my ZForce 800ex backfired..or made a coughing sound twice at approximately 45 miles per hour. Has anybody had this problem or know what it might be?

May be time to check the valve lash.

I have a 2019 that just turned 1000 miles. Not sure what a valve lash is

I just went online and found out what valve lash is. Thanks NMKawierider! It's still under warranty....I think I will bring it to the dealer.

A 1000 miles and it hasn't been checked...it should have been by 500 miles.
