Any ideas...? :-)
« on: November 10, 2016, 03:07:11 AM »
Hi there :-) Am planning to mount 2 LED spot rally lights on my Cforce 550 ATV. Any idea where to place them in front?  Anybody who have fitted any LED light for extra long beam on their ATV? I mean apart from LED bars.
I will attach a picture of one of the LED light am planning to fit to my ATV below. It has 4 LEDs times 3 watts each. 12 watt in total and a range of about 320 meters.it's a spot/flood light but concentrated light in the middle. Am just asking for an idea from u guys :-) By the way I have changed the front stock lights with LED too. No more halogen lamp on my ATV no more apart from the number plate light which am going to swap real soon :-) :-) Actually I recommend you all to change the halogen lamps with LED. It's a complete different world. Much more brighter light and very comfy to drive with at night specially long distance night driving :-)👍

I think the best place would be between the front rack and the plastics but at 81mm might not fit.. especially without some special brackets so the next best might be on top of the rack, either side or middle like this. JMO.

Thanx for the idea. Never thought of the possibility fitting them above the rack. You just gave me a good idea ;-)
Thanx :-) 👍 👍 👊
Will update you all after the installation :-)

Cool. I have almost the same idea as yours. But I can see that you have a rack of different type than mine :-( Yours us more like tubed frame while mine is a flat rack :-) I will try different places in front and see what fits beat :-)  Thanx for the reply :-) 👍

I was looking for a thread like this maybe I'll get myself a Light bar soon, I've been thinking of something from a straight 30cm to curved 50cm something around those sizes and shapes ;D I too have a 2015 CForce 550 EFI EPS. And I have a "flat rack" like kaleab not the "tubed metal" one Red Dog 4x4 has  ;) And... Where did you guys mount your switches? I dont have any idea where to put a switch when I get a Light Bar ::) Did you use a relay? Or even (if your bothered to) the big question: How did you do your wiring? ;D ;D ;D
