I went to boost my cf500 off and like a dummy hooked the cables up backwards. Nothing will work not even the lights. I've checked every fuse and all look good.

I went to boost my cf500 off and like a dummy hooked the cables up backwards. Nothing will work not even the lights. I've checked every fuse and all look good.

Oh Boy...if you have tested every fuse..the main and all in the distribution box, then test the relays. If they are all OK, then you might be looking at a new ECU but I would take it in for some more testing as that isn't cheap. Maybe the battery now has an open cell. Load test it and if bad, replace it. Very bad to hook-up jumpers backwards on any EFI system.

If you have no power, then there is a break in the connections someplace. A fuse would be the first place to look, but you've stated you've done that. I wonder if you've missed one.

Start with the connections to the starter solenoid/relay and the ignition switch. If  you have no power there, then nothing else is going to work.

Thank you all so much. I'm going to have to take it to the dealer because I'm not very good with this stuff. The starter is getting power because I can take a screwdriver and cross it over and it will crank.
