Can anyone confirm that the blue jug Rotella T6 is appropriate for my 21 600T engine oil? I'm due for an oil change and figured 5w-40 would be better for plowing in the northeast than the 10w-40 that I'm currently running (Valvoline 4 stroke ATV oil). Thanks

Although people use it all the time and per the specs it does meet all the base requirements.. however it is formulated for use in sooty, low temp & low RPM diesel engines not high RPM, High heat gasoline motorcycle engines. Yet, people use it without any "immediate" issues. How it effects the life of the engine is at least partly unknown. You'll probably just use it during the winter months though so...if it's all I had I would probably use it.

To be fair NMK todays diesel engines are low revving but not as sooty as the old days and definitely not low temperature. The new truck engines regularly run 200 degree or higher water temp and 240 degree or more oil temperature.
