800ex chip / tuner
« on: August 25, 2015, 08:14:52 PM »
I got some info today that said there is a block on the programming on the 800 ex that blocks any tune from the 0 to 40 % throttle because of the air censors.  Can any body help with this

Its from 0-20%. How ever, I believe with the DynoJet Power Commander 5 with the autotune module (comes with wide band O2 sensors) you can get past that block.

i installed the auto tune along with my dyno jen mod , and to my suprize it held me back , some info i learned that even you un plug the stock 0 2 censors , the moto still trys to make adjustments to the bike because the can not be read , and at same time auto tune is making adjustments with new wide band censors , it was a mess , sent my dyna jet back and installed ejk and it works alot better , since i have snorkeled my moto it is getting alot more air flow ejk chip is able to keep up with the demand , runs great ,

I havent had a chance to fully test my AutoTune yet... I got the top end rebuilt in mine after the airbox failure allowed a bunch of sand in, got a mile down the road, and the rear cylinder connected rod let go.

Needless to say im not at all impressed with CFMoto. I had another ZForce 800 come into the shop last night for poor performance. Did a compression check and found their rear cylinder too was toasted. During tear down the rings just fell off the piston and the crank was shot. 712 miles on it and the motor blew on that one. Ours only has 620.

i installed the uni filter and a snorkel set up with an extra air filter an
t end of pipe , i hope this will keep alot more crap out , the placment of the stock airbox inlet alows alot of dirt to be sucked up into the air box
