Zforce 800 trail. I'm sure this has been hashed over and over again but, I am struggling with how much dust I wear and eat on my rides. I have a half windshield with a soft back window. I have tried raising the window up a couple inches. I have tried to tape seal any holes in the cab off. I have ordered doors from Rodin (coming soon). Would a full windshield help? Any suggestions would be great !

A perplexing problem with off-road usage. As long as it's there and can get in...it will. I hated my 1/2 shield but at least when I wasn't being dusted-out from people in front, the airflow blew  everything outward. Once I got the flip windshield and ran it shut, the negative pressure behind it pulled my own dust back in from behind...so..I bought the rear shield from SATV. Now..finally...having the front, back and doors it's reasonably civilized in the cab...and when I don't have a butt-load of dust to plow through from people in front of me, I can open the flip and have great airflow. So glad I bought the flip because it does get hot in there and like Led Zeppelin says- there are times when "you need-cool-air", and if I had bought the solid shield...I'd be "not a happy camper" at myself.

So, yeah, with the two shields and the doors..it's tolerable...but remember, when you stop all the incoming air you will find that the heat from the radiator will flow back against the firewall and up-over it into the cab. But that can be sealed off too with some foam.   

IF YOU INSTALL FENDER FLARES IT CUTS THE DUST SWIRL DOWN FROM THE TIRES, AND DIRECTS THE DUST OUT FROM THE CAB, I FOUND THIS HAS WORKED THE BEST. .   

Remove front windshield, remove rear windshield.  Problem solved.  You will also have a much cooler cab in the summer and clear vision.  You don't have to worry about scratching the expensive glass or plastic.  You won't have to worry about mud.  Goggles are cheap, easy to clean, inexpensive, and easy to replace.

From the deserts of Baja to rocks, roots and mud of the East Coast and everywhere in between, there is a reason no off road vehicle ever had a windshield. 

I have both front and back windows , no doors, and I dont get all that much dust in the cab. Trick is to be in front of everyone else lol. My windows seem to keep the dust out pretty well.

On my U Force, I have been sealing off the open areas behind the seats, and under them, using the foil covered bubble wrap from Home Depot, using extra foil tape in high heat areas and to join the pieces, and tying them into the curtain that hangs down below the rear soft window between the cab and dump bed. This has reduced noise levels and dust by at least 80%.

I also used the same wrap around the air filter box and fuel tank area (under the plastics) and under the passenger seat that is wide open, but a more durable easily removable fitted heat / sound barrier would be better for maintenance and cleaning.

I also saw this add for a spoiler that creates an air curtain down behind the rear window to keep dust away from the rear of the cab and bed areas. I have an old one off a car I had laying around I'll paint up and mount and see how it works. Probably will help at certain speeds but not going very slowly.
