« on: January 24, 2024, 11:23:47 AM »
Hello everyone in 4x4 country. I am thinking about getting the 2024 UFORCE 1000. I was just wondering if anyone got theirs yet and if so. What are your initial thoughts ?
Thank you for any input.

I ride mostly Northern NM..like Jemez, Santa Fe NF and Carson NF but last year went down to the Lincoln NF and found there were lots of trails there as well. There are also some in the Gila and Cibola NFs but a little limited. There's some guys here from Las Cruces area that have some great areas they ride. Hopefully that will chime-in. Congrats on the new machine.

If you think you really have to go with some wheel spacers it best to keep then at 1.5 and under. Even there the effects they have on bushings and bearings is slower but still definite. 2" will be much faster. The cantilever effect they have on these parts causes them to wear at a much faster rate. An example is mine..I have 1.5" on mine and in only 1800 miles sense I installed them I have gone through two sets of lower rear knuckle bushings and one set of front upper a-arm bushings. Not to mention now the wheel bearing require greasing every 800 miles or so. The real answer is but a wheel with the offset you want to that you don't need spacers. For me it's not a big deal as I only put around 300 miles a year on mine now so it takes a while to wear parts out. Just my 2-Cents.

Awesome thank you for the input. I ride mostly northern NM as well and southern Colorado. I'll have to check out the Lincoln though. Thanks again

Anyone or there running offset wheels with wheel spacers ? Or just offset wheels or spacers. And if so what size and h have you had any problems ? New machine feels as little tippy in turns I've already maxed out pre load on springs. Thank you for any input.
