Hello. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. My Moto is brand new. I bought it in March of this year to give as a drawing prize. I kept it in my garage for the last 4 months and decided we were going to keep it. So, I registered it and took it out for a total of 3 miles before the throttle seemed like it was working intermittently, then the dash would blink, then go out. Upon further inspection of a totally dead machine, the main 40AMP fuse was blown. It did this a couple of times (till I ran out of 40-amp fuses). I replaced the battery thinking a weak battery can cause havoc to a charging system. After that having no effect, I went to park it to bring it back to the dealership, and the machine revved to over 6000 RPM on its own. I almost rolled over because of that....
It's now back at the dealership where they say it may need a harness, and that could take some time to get. (up to 4 months) So now I sit making payments on a machine I can't drive, and if the harness takes as long as they say it will, I could be out till next season....14 payments on a brand-new machine that I can't drive. I am not too sure I'll buy one of these again. This was the first time in my life that I could buy a new anything....and this is how it worked out. Hoping that someone else may have gotten through all of this and shed any light on it.
