« on: June 04, 2023, 07:44:41 AM »
Hi all I got a 2022 cf Moto Zforce 800 ex I bought new in March I hit the 200 mile mark so yesterday I went to do the first oil change my self every thing I read said the oil dip stick is behind passenger seat so I took seat out checked oil but  it seemed that it was gear oil so I pulled plug anyway and it drained out still didn’t seem like normal oil. The. When I pull fillter that seemed like engine oil there is another dip stick on back end of engine and that seemed more like the engine oil however don’t tell see another plug but way up I’m the engine past skid plates.  I ah e not re filled untell I know for sure and the dealer is closed today just wondering if anyone has experienced this or is this just break in oil I followed what everything in the book had said where it should be

In January of 2022 they shifted-over to the new engine design and told no one. The dip stick under the engine oil filter is now the transmission which takes gear lube so use only 75,80W90 in it. The new location for the engine dip stick is the same side except the other end of the engine...and yes, there is another drain plug for the engine oil just below it..and as I recall it points straight down.
