just got new uforce 1000 was not having any issues until today when it would not go into low gear and when in reverse the indicator light shows natural goes into high no problems. im thinking its a adjustment in the shift linkage? the dealer told me to bring it back but I dont have a trailer. my question is if I remove the lower part of the dash can I adjust the shifter linkage from that access point? thanks!

It's cable operated with adjusters on either end so you should be able to get to it. If it were mine, I would go to the transmission side, remove the cable and work it manually to ensure there is nothing wrong with the transmission or shifting fork. Then if OK, I would reset the alignment starting in the center or neutral and line up the shifter detents with the transmission's.

I should also say that these things don't just happen without reason...ie the cable adjustment just doesn't change without reason. I think something has happened...like someone shifted it while still moving. I would get ready to take it in.

WELL THINK I FOUND THE PROBLEM I HOPE! ITS IN THE SHIFTER LINKAGE ONE OF THE NUTS IS LOOSE CAUSING PLAY TOOK VIDEO BUT ITS HARD TO SEE UNLESS YOU ZOOM IN NOW TO REMOVE THE LOWER DASH TO ACCESS IT AND SEE IF THIS RESOLVES THE PROBLEM.

That'll do it. Chalk-up something else left loose from the CF Moto plant.
