I got a lead on a 2014 600 snyper.  Price is good, but it needs a passenger seat and a front hood.  Owner also says it has a Rev limiter problem. Tried reading up on it but not finding much on it.  What is the Rev limter for, is it part of the Computer or it is built into the engine.  I found one site where it says it is a control device built into the carb that is normally removed after the initial break in on the first servicing, is this correct. Also some one said it is a electronic control.  How hard is it to fix, anyone fix it before.  Anyone have a picture or diagram where it is located

Just wondering what it is before I decide to buy

Thanks

The "Rev Limiter" on the 13/14's is down by the E-Brake handle it gets snapped off when the frame twist a little bit (happened a lot on these years); you can by-pass it (that's what I did) or buy the up-graded replacement part

Just ground the wire to the frame; your "R" light in your dash will not light-up. I believe there is an older post about it on here do a search on the below
