Hey everyone, I have a 2016 zforce 800ex and during a trip out to AOAA in PA this weekend I was driving and then all of a sudden my dash turned off. I turned off the machine and then it wouldn't start back up. The light for the gears is the only light that works. My whole dash is off. The main fuses under the seat are good. It won't crank at all but I can hear the relays clicking. When I turn the key from the on position to off, the dash turns on for a second and then back off. Any thoughts?

I would check first that all three positive wires/cable on the battery are solid as well as the grounds. Then I would check that the negative cable to the front side of the CVT cover is connected well and especially the one smaller chassis ground to the same location. As there were some issues with the internal crimps/connection of the main fuse holder, I would check both power in and out of that fuse holder even though the fuse itself looks good. From there I would start looking forward toward and including the distribution box under the dash on the right side of the column.

had the same problem 2 years ago, was bad key switch on dash, no problems after replaced , hope that helps, i have the same machine
