2011 Cfmoto 150
« on: April 07, 2019, 04:17:24 AM »
Hi my daughter bought a Cfmoto 150 and I have stupidly hooked up the battery backwards now have no power at all . I have recharged and tested the battery and replaced the main fuse under the seat but still nothing ? I have tested with a meter and there is no power getting to the + side of the main fuse holder I thought this went straight to the battery but guessing not any ideas what I need to look at or do ????? Cheers

I bought a new 2014 model and had it for just over a year before I traded up. Good little bike and wish I still had it some days.
Sorry I cannot remember where the fuses are, but have you checked the fuse holder and wire to the battery for bad terminals/connections. There have been a few reports of bad crimps not allowing full contact of the wires. Have you checked for good earth of the battery too?
Good luck with your search.

any chance there might be a simple fix like a fusible link that failed?  hard to tell without a wiring diagram.

I have got this sorted it was the fuse in starter relay and the relay itself was making a weird noise once I changed the fuse so replaced the fuse and relay bike is going great now

Thanks for the follow-up. :)
