has anyone else had any issues with charging? i have a 2014 z8 ex and in just over a year i have replaced the battery twice but after installing this battery which is a good one and having the same issue i think my rectifier is not holding up. no i have not done a voltage test but im sure thats what is happening as the lights will dim and get bright again as it sits and idles on top of replacing the battery

First thing to do is find the problem. Either rectifier or stator usually. The book will show you how to test each. You can also get a free manual here in the Z800 section.
