Hello, I am new to the forum and to this brand/ATV, etc - I am looking for various parts for now and later - if anyone has anything interesting that fits this ATV please email me.  I am looking for rear view mirrors, another belt  (for when this belt is changed), another air filter (would like to go to a real air filter from the current foam one), a better exhaust pipe.  I am open to suggestions on how to make this ATV better - I am a retired guy that has made his share of purchasing mistakes - I hope I don't have to add this ATV to my list - seemed solid and feature rich, so I purchased it.  Thanks, Shane  (I don't even know the real name of this ATV - I have also seen it referred to as the Terralander) -

Welcome to the forum. Most of us get our new parts and such from Alpha-Sports.com. Your 2012 X6 is a rare find. Most are gone by now.

Hi Shane. It's pretty much accepted that the foam air filters, properly oiled, are the better air filter by far. Motors have been wrecked by the paper type allowing too much dust past. Any is really too much.
a pretty good consensus is that the Uni foam filter is the better one. The factory version is still better than the factory paper filter and in the Z force line at least, CF Moto has begun supplying new SXS with foam filters as stock.

Thanks for the 2 replies - it has been in the shop for half of my ownership of it because since they brought it to me it had starting and shifting issues.  I am trying to decide (now that they worked on it) whether to take it back or take the trade-in offer (for about what I paid for it there) for another brand.   I changed the air filter (oiled it too) before they took it back for repairs.  One of you said few are around any more - please explain... is this a good or bad thing..... were there issues with them?  Thanks, Shane
