Hello all. I mistakenly purchased the aluminium skid plate set for my Cforce 500, but instead wanted the plastic set. Iron Baltic are doing a deal rather than have me send the aluminium set back, so I'm asking for $500. Currently for sale on their website for $599. I live in vegas but would consider delivering or mailing. Still in original packaging, brand new and not opened. please message me if interested.

Good luck. Have to ask..because most people replace their plastic skids with aluminum because the plastics break-up, why would one want plastic over aluminum? Unless it was HDPE.

Because of the type of trails I do is mainly large and small rocks, after reading reviews and discussing with people I feel plastic is better and would make less noise. The plastic from Iron Baltic are much heavier duty than the stock ones and a lot better for aggressive rocks. I am considering keeping the aluminium Instead, but I'm not 100% sure.

Out here everyone breaks the OE plastics and some gave cracked their HDPE's but no one has ever broken a set of aluminum's. Only dinged or scratched. On the set I had on my Brute having it straight against the frame was noisy but after I cut & split some 5/8" heater hose and slipped it around the frame close to the mount points to hold it off a hair, it was dead quiet..and I could wash the trash off it.
