No brake fluid
« on: March 06, 2018, 09:06:19 PM »
HI all,

I replaced all brakes and got everything working again. After the first ride I lost the foot pedal brake again. I have fluid at the back caliper but I can't even get a drop out of the front brakes. Tried gravity and pressure bleeder and nothing. Opening the back bleeder on the front calipers.  Any help would be great. Foot pedal seems like there is absolutely no pressure.  I get a bit out of the back but super easy to push down.
Please help.
Mike

As you know, your CForce has a brake system that is said to be the stuff of nightmares. Many have tried conventional means to bleed them and few have succeeded. The highest success rate comes from those who have back-bleed them..that is.. from the bleeders on the calipers back to the master cylinder. A bit messy if one forgets to draw fluid from the master before it overflows. Yours lost fluid, so you need to figure that one out.

Hi All,
I got it all working and thought I would share how I did it. Instructions are for a 500 but worked on my 800.. Only way I think you can really bleed these brakes properly.

Thanks

And if your doing a lot of mud runs I would definetly switch to sintered pads.
I had no luck with the OEM. Burnt out in a few riDE every time.... I've switched to EBC extreme duty and haven't had an issue and also last way longer. ...
Just my opinion.
Thanks
