I'm attempting to put some after market shocks onto my CFORCE 800 I know the original shocks are very good however I want to upgrade to something more well known. I had some interest in the fox 1.5 podiums rc2 but am not seeing anything compatibility wise, are ATV shocks pretty universal? Or will I need to do some more heavy searching for shocks that are able to be compatible. hope to hear back from anyone willing to help out thank you.

My best suggestion is to get some data then call FOX to see what will fit. Get the "I" to "I" length front and back measurement as well as the spring diameter, the mount width and the bolt shaft size. Then get the overall machine weight and any additional weight you usually take.

This is what I intend to do with Elka on my Z8.

awesome will do, do you know whether or not the front and the rear are the same or will I need to measure both front and back?

The fronts and rears are usually a little different. Just jack it up so the shocks are fully extended and take your measurements. No need to remove them. Might have to take a nut off to get the bolt size though. Just one though.
