I have some slop in one of my rear wheels. 2014 Terralander (Cforce 800). Would this be bad bushings? If it is the dealer has to order them and it will take a week. Is it safe to use the bike while I'm waiting for the parts? Will it cause more damage by using it. Where are the bushings in the a arm? See videos below. Appreciate any feedback.

Yeah you need new end caps. The bushings may be OK but sense you will have apart might as well replace them. You are safe to use it in the mean time. It's no longer water tight so keep that in mind. Might also check the torque on the bolt.

Thanks for you reply. So I won't do anymore damage by using it? I am confused with this setup and the attached layout. In the layout #8 are the bushings showing inserted from the outside of the a-arm. Looking at the video I do not see anything there? #24 is a collar holder unit. Is that the part you are talking about? # 18 is a dust cap. # 23 is the inner spacer.

I believe it's like many others and its the Dust cap, #18, that takes up the end play inside the a-arm mounts.

If it's side to side, tighten it up. If it rocks, then the bushings are bad. Mine were crappie new. Most bushings have a head on them. They just push into the a arm tube on both sides. You won't hurt much if you take one apart tipped it out a little to look it over, see how it works.

I took the a-arms apart on both sides top and bottom and no bushings anywhere. I did tighten up the A-arm bolt that was loose and all is ok now.

You had them, they were right under the metal caps. Sometimes they are in the tube tight and need a punch to knock out. I have run across some a arms that still have a weld bead in the tube. Haven't seen this on CFMoto. This can cause all sorts of issues. Just something to look for if you have to deal with them on any machine. If I get the notion to make Delrin bushings, that are way better than factory, I will post a how to replace them. If I find a deal on the Delrin stock, maybe I will make some extra bushings for others.

Just look at the parts diagram above and part # 8 is showing as the bushing which I do not have on either side top or bottom arm. I have the dust cover, collar unit and inner spacer. This has 1200 miles and as it came from the factory with no bushings that I can find. I am confused......or stupid....lol
I tightened the bolt that was loose on one side and now both rear wheels are tight and no slop at all. If I have no bushings I should have slop?

It would be super sloppy if the bushings were gone. I can see just the inner edge of them in your pic. They look something like this

I must be really blind and stupid......lol I still don't see them. None in the arm and none under the end caps. I had all 8 end caps off and there are collars in the ends of the top and bottom of hub and metal spacers running inside them as in the parts diagram, #18, 23 and 24. In the diagram the ends of the arms seem to be thicker on the ends then mine are, where they are showing where the bushings and bolts go. Mine doesn't seem thick enough to hold bushings? I have no slop at all so I guess I should just enjoy the bike and forget about It. Thanks to everyone for your input. I really love this forum and how everyone is there to assist. Ride safe.

Run it. If the bolts fit the holes in the a-arms tightly, there was never supposed to be a bushing in it any way. Probably a mid-production change. My Kawasaki is that way.

the arms in the drawing might be the alum type. I can see the bushings in your pic. They are black. They are pressed into the spindle/bearing carrier. The spacer/rod goes through them. But I would not worry about any of it now if you can just snug the bolts and get rid of the slop. They are fine if you can do that.
