Hi to all. Anyone have this problem? I start the 800 and then it stops... if i push the gas i get the motor running, but if not the motor stops.
This problem begins at same time with a battery issue... that´s it: I run a few minutes, then i stop the cf 800. When I have to start again the quad won´t to start, i realize the battery is dead. I get power from other battery, the 800 starts... but from here the idle is bad, the motor stops always.
What can i do?

Well first, fix the battery & charging issue. Low voltage plays hell on all systems.

Charged the battery 2 days. Installed, battery is ok. The 800 starts but it stops...
i need to open the gas to maintain the motor running... bad idle.
When i release the acelerator the motor stops

Charging a bad battery for two days doesn't make it a good battery. How do you know the battery is good?

Mileage? Cold start only? How does it run otherwise? Hot start? What are you are air temps offending conditions?

I had one that would die or not start letting off the throttle. Drove me nuts finding the problem. Turned out to be a cracked intake boot.

The battery is good, mileage 300 (new) it is all ok. now is working good, i only reset throttle cable, nothing more

So did it idle before you reset the throttle cable? In other words was the cable to tight & it was holding the throttle open?

Thanx! Saved my day! Had battery issues, installed a new battery and it wouldnt idle. Took the sensorcable out, it idled right away. Installed the cable and still idles fine 😀👍

What's the "sensor cable" referred to here?  A TPS cable?  Engine RPM Sensor cable?  Also, where is it located?  My brother-in-law has what appears to be the identical problem with idle stalling and batteries getting drained/replaced.

Not sure. And that guy hasn't been here sense 2018. Probably meant the idle air control valve. That supplies air when the throttle is shut. Many have gone bad on CFMs.
