I have a 2020 XC 800 with 475 miles on it. I also have a 2022 Cforce 1000 Overland. The belt on the 800 does not engage until the rpm's get up a bit and then the machine jerks and moves and that happens in high or low and reverse. The 1000 is smooth as silk and that belt engages right away with no revving needed like the 800 needs. Any info would be great. Jim from Vermont.

The overall design of both clutch systems are the same. The only differences in engagement would be flyweights and primary spring. The only other thing might be a problem with function due to dust build up or an installation problem. Pull, clean and inspect it. It and the belt.
