Hi All, I read somewhere on here that one of the 800 UTV's had a speed limiter on the throttle body and wondered if the 2018 cforce 800 had one also

yes, when the machine is in Low gear, it throttles at 40km/h. This can be overridden with the button on the handle.
In high, I dont believe there is a throttle, but I've maxed out around 127km/h.

Did not know the override works for low and not just reverse. Valuable!

Not sure if the 2018's have the speed limiter screw on the throttle body like the 2020's do but they are by default not throttle limiting from factory. You'd have to screw the screw in to engage throttling before it would do it.

Also good to know that certain countries have regulations which cause cfmoto to have to throttle limit those specific country versions. The throttle limiting done on those versions is done somewhere else in the engine or clutching and not that throttle limiting screw.

I just purchased a new 21 800xc and when I leave hard or blip the throttle a little a get the 3 warning chimes . Is this normal to hear when doing this ?
