Softer ride?
« on: December 26, 2019, 06:40:49 PM »
How can I adjust the red knobs on the front and rear shocks to make for a softer ride. I know one is for compression and the other is for rebound, but what combo makes the softest ride? Thanks.

The top one by the res is Compression so go all the way to the FAST or wide open on the valve, then one click to the SLOW. The lower one is Rebound and you will want more on that to stop the recoil or spring so find the center position by closing it, then open it to full FAST counting the clicks, then closing half that number. Then go two more clicks to the slow. The only other thing you can do is go with a set of Elka or Bandit shocks. Either will give you..some say 100% ride improvement. I say 30-40%

I'm going to give mine a few more rides before I adjust the shocks.  I find the ride a little rougher than I expected, but overall not horrible.  Not quite as nice as my Polaris, but certainly better than my Kawasaki with a solid rear axle.
