2022 800xc free wheeling

Hello All, I'm experiencing free wheeling at slow speeds while descending steep grades. Engine braking works fine until I get to a slower speed, say less than 10MPH. applying a little throttle helps bring it back, but sometimes that is a little unnerving.
Is this something that can be adjusted or is it the nature of the beast?

They no longer have the oneway sprag or overriding clutch to give engine braking below when the primary releases the belt..which stock is somewhere in the 9-11mph range. The only thing you can do is cause the primary to disengage at a lower RPM by either adding weight to the flyweights or use a spring with less low end resistance. That will however change all the shifting characteristics...
