Yes if its classed as road legal it will be from factory I had same issue i was disapointed then my dealer told me,then after 20 hours i have to buy another ignition coil to de-restrict my atv after 20 hours which was 250 euro

What another egnition coil ?? here in sweden we youst reprogram the cu to get our machines to go full speed (we have 4 types of registration that gives different rules to the machines) and some of them the machine are only allowed to go 40 or 60 km/h and a simple reprogram on the ecu and you have full speed.

I think they are also speed limited by the cvt, they have a speed limited and a non speed limited primary from the googling I've done, my dealer has no idea how to fix mine, the dash says its doing 105km but it's only doing 90 on the GPS, they tried different speed sensor different ecu still the same so  I am going to mention the cvt to them and see what they can do.

I was able to hit 72 mph on mine but when the rpm hits 7000 the dash starts beeping.  I figured that was fast enough.

70 mph (112 kph). 

In Canada my 850xc can easily hit 120km/hr. But discovered with GPS real speed is only 105-110.
It seems it could do more but ran out of road to try.

The US bikes with the secondary on A1 from the factory will run 67MPH, the speedo isnt calibrated factory, you must calibrate it, 67mph is it, and thats on the rev limiter at 7650rpm

In Canada here, I couldnt get over 126KM/h that's where it seems to have capped out on a straight stretch.
I didnt have a GPS on so I'm not sure if that was real or not, but it was plenty fast enough.

Tassi850, get your dealer to un-limit it. I've got a 2020 850XC, it maxed out at 100km/h, at the 20 hour / 500km service, they took the limiter off and I now get 125 -135km/h depending how low I sit in the seat and how much load I'm carrying.
