Venting radiator
« on: October 02, 2017, 06:44:54 AM »
Couldn't find any ref. In user manual, other than filling. Need to replace the radiator thermo switch & will obviously loose some coolant even if I manage to swap as fast as possible & air will get in.
Question is...Can I expect air to purge naturally via the reservoir tank, or will there be a need to top up via The radiator cap ? As the hood panel seems to be fiddly to remove for access, hope someone has advice on this ?
Thanks in advance.

It may in time but that air bubble at the top needs to be removed by topping off the radiator. So I guess getting to the cap will be important. :)
