Need to disable daytime running lights....use atv for shooting at night. Can anyone help please.

I have needed to do this, but look at the wiring diagram and see if they are on a relay. Find the trigger wire and reroute it to a switch than back to the relay. This way you can turn them off when needed.

There is a diode up near the handle bar stem on the main cable, remove the diode will disable the lights, want the lights back, just put the diode back in.

Hi, please could you expand on the info to disable the daytime running lights as I would like to turn them off too.

You may have a small black "diod"  (about the siza of a shugar cube) on the cables one of them are blocking the funktion that allows to turn of the hedlights.

On my 520/500s i can turn of the lights with the light switch on the handle bars
