light problem
« on: August 19, 2023, 01:12:48 PM »
I'm new to this forum and new to the cf moto I purchased a 2021 c 500s with 400 miles on it and my lights will come on or not and when they are on flicker and or dim when engine revs
I pulled switch and all contacts look good, and it seems that only the low and high beam have this problem.
any help appreciated.
I did find the previous owner stripped the ground on the battery but i fixed that.

Welcome. Sounds like a bad connection somewhere. Maybe a chassis ground but more likely a supply issue like a bad connector or fuse holder.

Thank you.
I'll start chasing it down These machines are put together. My Yamaha and Honda so far seem easier to get to engine lights etc.

Found it
A bundle of wires under the instrument panel a multi pin connector that when I move it I can get the lights to stay on
But have to take the front panel off to get to it not just the hood. so looking for a video of that
