Hi there, our cf550 won`t start after piston rings replacement i`m wondering if my walves are wrong adjusted.
does anyone here know what the clearance should be?
is it right with 0,1mm at inlet and 0.15mm at outlet?

For the 550 (cf600au-3l) the values are: 0,8-0,12 on inlet and 0,12-0,18 on outlet.

I just did break in service on mine today, and had to adjust 3 valves (2 inlet and one outlet). I chose to use 0,10 on inlet and 0,15 on outlet.
It was actually quite easy to adjust valve clearence. I used a 8mm wrench and a flat skrewdriver. I had to keep the screwdriver in place on top of the adjust screw when tightening the adjustment nut, because when you torque it to 12NM it had a tendency to literally "screw up" my 0,10 valve adjustment...

What took time was all the disassembly of covers etc....

What mechanism did you use to turn the engine over to position  the cam lobes before adjusting?

Disassemble the CVT cover. That gives you access to the primary clutch. You rotate this to move the valves to the TDC.( Top dead center)

The primary clutch is turned by hand, no tool.
