Removing Primary Clutch
« on: January 12, 2016, 03:13:06 PM »
Anyone ever remove the primary off of these?

Apparently CFMoto-US does NOT have a clutch puller, and neither does CVTech. These are specific to CFMoto because they are left hand threaded.

I haven't seen one. If you can measure the thread, motion pro should have something.

They have nothing. Neither does Bronco, EPI...

That's no good. What size is it? I should be able to make one if I get the specs.

Did you find something? If you did let us know. Just wondering why are you pulling the clutch?

Had to get one sent in. I am currently working with a local shop to have some made to sell. I'll let you guys know what I find out.

Good deal. Some may have noticed I'm looking to get a 500HO in the near future. I am interested in any info you or anyone else has on this model. Most of the time I try to know what expect when I buy something.

The primary clutch on my 500 HO just grenaded and the threads for the bolt that holds it on the output shaft are metric 12mm with 1.5 pitch threads that are left handed (reverse thread).  I'm still looking for a clutch removal tool  0JY0-050000-922-002.  Parts support leaves a lot to be desired from CFMOTO.

When I do a parts number search for 0JY0-050000-922-002 on Alpha-Sports, it comes up with your clutch removal tool. Its 88.67...which sucks. When I search for ctdls's tool, it comes back no longer available.
