Oil in air filter box cf550

Hi again men had my quad for a long run yesterday then I noticed it started dropping power whilst riding and when idling so had a check and the the air filter was soaked on oil and about 1/2 inch excess in the filter box not sure what could be wrong if any ideas cheers quad running smoothly thow after cleaning it ?

Did you get the update kit put in for the oil in the filter box yet. If not, call your dealer to get it installed.

One other thing to check, on the Z8s they place a prefilter bag over the end of the air intake tube to limit the amount of larger materials entry to the box. This does get filled and causes increased vacuum on the box which also pulls harder on the crankcase tube..pulling more oil and vapor to the box.

I know the 500s have another issue with baffling but I guess I didn't know the 550s had the same issue.
