Hey looking for some help on a 2020 CF 500. New starter new starter sol. new battery, and fuel pump no power to starter or fuel pump. All fuses and relays are good? Tried all the tricks posted here no luck. Could it be the gear indicator switch? or another sensor. Dash lights up everything else works lights, 4x4, winch. If I jump across the starter sol. the starter works but no fuel pump? Any help would be great, this ATV only has 240 miles on it, thanks

Yeah I moved them all around (they are all the same) and they function fine (4x4), lights, and so on......I guess it might be something I have to run down with a meter? I was just wondering if this was a common problem. Do you know what color wires to connect to jump out the gear position sensor? Thanks for the help

The gear position selector only provides grounds for the LEDs in the pod and the starter interlock relays so you can start it in Park and Neutral without the brake light being on. The AUX relays provide power to the ignition and fuel systems when the key is on...and the kill switch is in the run position.
Without testing the components as outlined in the service manual the problem can get right by you. Most often it's just a bad switch or connector. Once in a while its a bad ECM. Might be worth taking it in.

There are so many possibilities that guessing can simply cost you money.

So I'll ask first why the starter and the solenoid were  replaced.

Starter was bad replaced them both, I bought it that way.

OK. Things to check:

Will it turn over while engaging the brake?

If the ECU is not energizing the EFI or Starter circuits/solenoids then you need to look for bad fuses, loose connections, verify that the proper enabling signals are getting to the ECU, and that the ECU is providing the proper signals to energize those circuits.

Loose connections can include the kill switch, which if not tight, will produce the results you see.
Check the grounds.

You can test various ECU pins with a multi meter, but you will need a wiring diagram.

I think I found it. So underneath the relay block are two, two prong small relays (or diodes) held by plastic clips. One is missing (I assume fell out) because the plastic clip was not formed properly to hold it in. I ordered one on Amazon but won't have it for a day or two. I'm going to look a a wiring diagram now but I believe there should be two.

Well that was not the problem. No it won't turn over with the brake on. I'm out of ideas. I have checked and cleaned everything listed. I even hooked up to a bigger battery just to try it. I can'r believe something with only 200 miles on it has a failure like this. Very frustrating. Anyone has anything else they can think of hit me up....thanks

Probably time to take it in.

Right. Lacking a PDA for the ECU, the dealership could diagnose the issue much faster than trouble shooting with a meter.

It could be anything from a broken or shorted wire to a failed ECU.
